Order in Council 1804/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 1077/2015, dated August 13, 2015, Dr. William J. Lucas was appointed as Regional Coroner for that part of the Central Region of Ontario comprised of the following geographical areas prescribed under the Territorial Division Act, 2002: Simcoe, Halton and Peel, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council;

And

Whereas Dr. William J. Lucas retired and has, in writing, resigned his appointment as Regional Coroner for the Central Region of Ontario, effective July 1st, 2017;

Therefore pursuant to subsection 5(1) of the Coroners Act , as amended, Order in Council numbered O.C. 1077/2015, dated August 13, 2015, appointing Dr. William J. Lucas as Regional Coroner for the Central Region of Ontario, is hereby revoked effective the date of this Order in Council.
