Order in Council 1708/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 9(2) of the Public Service of Ontario Act, 2006 , Mercedes Watson be appointed as a member of the Public Service Commission, effective January 3, 2026, for a term not extending beyond the earlier of January 2, 2027 and the date she ceases to be Chief Talent Officer.
