Statute: Nova Scotia Business Incorporated Act Provincial Finance Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated October 26, 2004, pursuant to Sections 2, 6, 16 and 34 of

Chapter 30 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 2000, the Nova Scotia Business Incorporated Act, and Regulations thereunder, and Sections 59A and 59C of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, is pleased to approve and consent to: (

a) amend Order in Council 2003-193 dated May 1, 2003, to continue financial assistance to MacTara Limited, by issuance of an amended Guarantee in an amount not to exceed $2,500,000 as outlined in the Report and Recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated October 26, 2004, the Guarantee to be in a form acceptable to the Attorney General of Nova Scotia; (

b) amend Order in Council 2004-173 dated April 8, 2004, to continue financial assistance to MacTara Limited by way of a working capital loan not to exceed $1,000,000.00, as outlined in the Report and Recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated October 26, 2004; and (

c) authorize Nova Scotia Business Incorporated to execute the said Guarantee and such other agreements, documents and instruments as may be required to give effect to this Order.
