Repeal

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:

Appointment of acting police complaint commissioner continued

1 Despite

section 49 (2) (

c) of the Police

Act , the acting police complaint commissioner appointed on July 31, 2002 continues to hold office until a person is appointed as the police complaint commissioner under

section 47 (1) of that Act.

Repeal

2 This Act is repealed on March 31, 2003 or on an earlier date prescribed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council.
