Order in Council 448/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council made a regulation under subsection 5(1) of the Farm Products Marketing Act providing for the carrying out of all the powers of the Ontario Processing Vegetable Growers by a trustee (the “Trustee”);

And

whereas the Trustee shall be paid such remuneration and expenses as the Lieutenant Governor in Council may determine;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 76(2) of the Legislation Act, 2006:

The person appointed as Trustee shall be remunerated at the rate of $676.00 per day, based on a 7.25 hour day.

The person appointed as Trustee shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses that are incurred while carrying out the duties of that position in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
