STATUTES CORRECTION REGULATION, 2013

Corrections to Ministry of Agriculture statutes

1 The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act is corrected as set out in

Schedule 1.

Corrections to Ministry of Children and Family Development statutes

2 The Child, Family and Community Service Act is corrected as set out in

Schedule 2.

Corrections to Ministry of Community, Sport and Cultural Development statutes

3 The Vancouver Charter is corrected as set out in

Schedule 3.

Corrections to Ministry of Energy and Mines statutes

4 The following statutes are corrected as set out in

Schedule 4:

(

a) Clean Energy Act ;

(

b) Greenhouse Gas Reduction (Renewable and Low Carbon Fuel Requirements) Act .

Corrections to Ministry of Finance statutes

5 The following statutes are corrected as set out in

Schedule 1

Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act

Section 1 (1) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 372, is amended in the definition of “rules” by striking out “ include except in

section 5 ” and substituting “ includes, except in

section 5, ”.

Schedule 2

Child, Family and Community Service Act

Section 74 (2) (e.1) (ii) of the Child, Family and Community Service Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 46, is amended by striking out “ Act. ” and substituting “ Act; ”.

Schedule 3

Vancouver Charter

Section 396 (5) of the Vancouver Charter, S.B.C. 1953, c. 55, is amended

(

a) in paragraph (a) (i.1) by striking out “

section 300.1 (3) (f); ” and substituting “

section 300.1 (3) (f) ,”, and

(

b) in paragraph (b) (iii) by striking out “ subsection (1) (c) (i); ” and substituting “ subsection (1) (c) (i), ”.

Schedule 4

Clean Energy Act

1 The Clean Energy Act, S.B.C. 2010, c. 22, is amended

(

a) in

section 12 (1) in paragraph (

a) of the definition of “protected area” by striking out “ section (1) ” and substituting “

section 1 ”, and

(

b) in

section 37 (

g) by striking out “ smart-grids ” and substituting “ smart grids ”.

Greenhouse Gas Reduction (Renewable and Low Carbon Fuel Requirements) Act

Section 6 (5) of the Greenhouse Gas Reduction (Renewable and Low Carbon Fuel Requirements) Act, S.B.C. 2008, c. 16, is amended by striking out “ subsection (3) ” and substituting “ subsection (4) ”.

Schedule 5

Finance Statutes Amendment Act, 2010

Section 51 of the Finance Statutes Amendment Act, 2010, S.B.C. 2010, c. 4, is amended

(

a) by striking out “Section 5 (2)” and substituting “Section 5”, and

(

b) in paragraph (

a) by adding “in subsection (2)” before “by striking out”.

Financial Institutions Act

2 The Financial Institutions Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 141, is amended

(

a) in

section 1 (1) in paragraph (

g) of the definition of “unaffiliated director” by striking out “ it; or ” and substituting “ it, or ”, and

(

b) in

section 289 (3)

(

i) in paragraph (i.1) by striking out “ promised; ” and substituting “ promised, ”,

(ii) in paragraph (m.1) by striking out “ report; ” and substituting “ report, ”, and

(iii) in paragraph (u.1) (iii) by striking out “ penalty. ” and substituting “ penalty, ”.

Public Service Labour Relations Act

Section 1 (1) of the Public Service Labour Relations Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 388, is amended in paragraph (hh) of the definition of “employee” by striking out “ Act . ” and substituting “ Act ; ”.

Schedule 6

Forest Act

Section 47.72 (2) of the Forest Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 157, is amended by striking out “

section 79.1.. ” and substituting “

section 79.1. ”

Schedule 7

Criminal Records Review Act

Section 6 (3) of the Criminal Records Review Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 86, is amended by striking out “

section 33.1 (l) ” and substituting “

section 33.1 (1) ”.

Family Law Act

Section 92 of the Family Law Act, S.B.C. 2011, c. 25, is amended by striking out “ more the following: ” and substituting “ more of the following: ”.

Miscellaneous Statutes Amendment Act (No. 3), 2010

Section 172 (5) (

b) of the Miscellaneous Statutes Amendment Act (No. 3), 2010, S.B.C. 2010, c. 21, is amended by striking out “ may ”.

Miscellaneous Statutes Amendment Act (No. 2), 2012

Section 60 of the Miscellaneous Statutes Amendment Act (No. 2), 2012, c. 18, is amended by striking out “ Employee’s ” and substituting “ Employees’ ”.

Representation Agreement Act

Section 42 (4) (

e) of the Representation Agreement Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 405, is amended by striking out “ . and ” and substituting “ , and ”.

Schedule 8

Oil and Gas Activities Act

Section 99 of the Oil and Gas Activities Act, S.B.C. 2008, c. 36, is amended

(

a) in subsection (1) (

q) by striking out “ Act; ” and substituting “ Act. ”, and

(

b) in subsection (2) (

b) by adding “ Act ” after “ Forest Practices Code of British Columbia ”.

Schedule 9

Transportation Investment Act

Section 17 (1) (d) (iii) of the Transportation Investment Act, S.B.C. 2002, c. 65, is amended by striking out “ regulations, ” and substituting “ regulations. ”
