OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture dated June 25, 2023, and pursuant to
Section 3 of
Chapter 308 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Natural Products Act , is pleased to: (
a) reappoint Ian Blenkharn of Berwick, Kings County, as a member of the Natural Products Marketing Council for a term of four (4) years commencing July 18, 2023; (
b) reappoint John Vissers of Mackay Siding, Colchester County, as a member of the Natural Products Marketing Council for a term of five (5) years commencing July 18, 2023; and (
c) order that Ian Blenkharn and John Vissers be remunerated for their services in the amount of $100.00 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling their duties as members of the Council, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally payable to members of the civil service.
