INTERPRETATION (PACIFIC DAYLIGHT TIME)

AMENDMENT ACT, 2025

HIS MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:

This Bill amends the Daylight Saving Time Regulation .

1 The Daylight Saving Time Regulation, B.C. Reg. 136/2006, is repealed and the following substituted:

Daylight saving time

1 In British Columbia each year the time for general purposes shall be 7 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time during the period commencing at 2 o’clock in the forenoon on the second Sunday of March and does not end.

Commencement

2 This Act comes into force on the date of Royal Assent.

Explanatory Note

This Bill amends the Daylight Saving Time Regulation .
