OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated July 3, 2012, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased to: (

a) approve the Province entering into an agreement with the Halifax Regional Municipality setting out terms for sharing the costs of the design and construction of a new convention centre, for annual operating costs for the life of the associated long- term lease and governance of same, substantially in the form set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; and (

b) authorize the President of the Executive Council (Premier), on behalf of the Province, to execute the agreement with the Halifax Regional Municipality referred to in paragraph (a), subject to such changes thereto as may be approved by the President of the Executive Council.
