On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Land Owner Transparency Regulation, B.C. Reg. 250/2020, is amended by adding the following

section to

Part 3:

Exemption related to Taxation (Rural Area) Act

21.21 A transferee from whom property was forfeited is exempt from filing a transparency declaration and a transparency report if the property vests in the transferee as the former owner under

section 40 of the Taxation (Rural Area) Act .
