Order in Council 950/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Minister of Children, Community and Social Services has appointed a supervisor under subsections 44 (1) and (3) of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017 to operate and manage the affairs and activities of The Children’s Aid Society of Brant (operating as Brant Family and Children’s Services),

And

whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council wishes to provide for the remuneration of a new supervisor to be appointed by the Minister effective July 12, 2020 (“Supervisor”),

Therefore, pursuant to subsections 44 (1) and (3) of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017,

The Supervisor shall be paid remuneration at the rate of $651 per day, up to a maximum of 251 days, such that the maximum payable shall not exceed $163,400 per year, effective July 12, 2020.

The Supervisor shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses that are incurred while carrying out the duties of that position in accordance with the Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive and any other relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
