OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Deputy President of the Executive Council dated January 21, 2003, and pursuant to

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and to

Chapter 70 of the said Revised Statutes, the Civil Service Act, is pleased, effective February 10, 2003, to: (

a) appoint David Darrow as Chief Executive Officer of the Sydney Tar Ponds Agency (NS); (

b) designate David Darrow as a deputy head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act and direct that he receive all customary benefits associated with the position of deputy head; (

c) designate David Darrow, in respect of his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the Sydney Tar Ponds Agency (NS), to be an employee for the purposes of the Public Service Superannuation Act; and (

d) fix and determine the salary of David Darrow, in respect of his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the Sydney Tar Ponds Agency (NS) to be paid at such rate as may be determined by the Treasury and Policy Board in accordance with the Management Compensation Plan approved from time to time by the Governor in Council.
