OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables dated January 31, 2022, and pursuant to Sections 9, 10, 12 and 15 of
Chapter 3 of the Acts of 1987, the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation (Nova Scotia) Act , is pleased to: (
a) appoint Barbara B. Pike of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as Chairperson of the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board for a six-year term commencing March 1, 2022; and (
b) fix the salary of Barbara B. Pike at $5,000 per annum plus $400 per day for each day spent on Board business and reasonable traveling expenses reimbursed in accordance with the policies agreed to by the Provincial Government and the Government of Canada.
