OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated October 19, 2021, and pursuant to Sections 2A, 4B and 7 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased, effective October 26, 2021, to: (

a) change the name of the Office of Mental Health and Addictions to the Office of Addictions and Mental Health; (

b) amend clause (

b) of Order in Council 2021-54 dated February 23, 2021, by replacing “the Minister of Health and Wellness” with “the Honourable Brian Comer, a Member of the Executive Council”; (

c) appoint Jeanne Lagassé as Deputy Minister responsible for the Office of Addictions and Mental Health; and (

d) amend clause (

d) of Order in Council 2020-14 dated January 14, 2020, by removing the words, “in accordance with the Senior Officials Pay Plan as it applies to Deputy Ministers”.
