B.C. Reg. 95/2004, deposited March 12, 2004, pursuant

to the PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS ACT [Sections 40, 43, 47,

51, 54 and 133]. Order in Council 235/2004, approved and ordered March 11, 2004.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor,

by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective

June 1, 2004, the Petroleum and Natural Gas Act Fee, Rental and Work

Requirement Regulation, B.C. Reg. 378/82, is amended according to

the

schedule to this order.

Schedule

1 The Petroleum and Natural Gas Act Fee, Rental and Work Requirement Regulation

is amended by repealing

section 3.1 and substituting the following:

3.1 The annual rent for a permit issued is,

(

a) for the first, second, third, fourth and fifth years,

$1.05/ha, and

(

b) for the sixth and subsequent years, $1.75/ha.

Section 7 is amended by striking out "$200" and substituting "$500".

Section 10 is repealed and the following substituted:

10 The following fees are payable:

(

a) for recording an assignment under the Bank Act ,

$50 for each title affected (includes cancelling);

(

b) for recording or cancelling any instrument or document

not referred to in paragraph (a), $50 for each title affected;

(

c) for the preparation and issuance of a title search letter, $7.50;

(

d) for the visual examination of records, or the provision of any other service for which no fee is prescribed, $25 per hour;

(

e) for a copy of or extract from a record, the greater of $10 and $0.75 per page;

(

f) for certifying a copy of or extract from a record, the greater of $15 and $1 per page.
