B.C. Reg. 194/2023 , deposited July 17, 2023, under the PASSENGER TRANSPORTATION ACT [section 59.4] and PASSENGER TRANSPORTATION AMENDMENT ACT (No. 2), 2022 [section 18]. Order in Council 472/2023, approved and ordered July 17, 2023.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(

a) sections 14 to 16 of the Passenger Transportation Amendment Act (No. 2), 2022 , S.B.C. 2022, c. 35, are brought into force, and

(

b) the Passenger Transportation Regulation, B.C. Reg. 266/2004, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

Section 12.6 (2) of the Passenger Transportation Regulation, B.C. Reg. 266/2004, is amended

(

a) in paragraph (

a) by striking out " sections 42.2 (3) " and substituting "

section 42.2 (3) ", and

(

b) by striking out " and " at the end of paragraph (b), by adding " , and " at the end of paragraph (c) (ii) and by adding the following paragraph:

(

d) the certificate is not the subject of an order made under

section 46 (1) (c.1) of the Act.

Section 24.2 (1) is amended by striking out " item 1 " and substituting " item 1 and paragraph (

a) of item 2 ".

Section 24.3 (1) and (2) is amended by striking out " item 2 " and substituting " item 3 ".
