in force:

Council of Our Province of Alberta, by virtue of the provisions of the said Act

APPENDIX C
ORDER
1 In this Order, "annexed land" means the land described in Appendix A and shown
on the sketch in Appendix B.
2 For taxation purposes in 2008 and subsequent years up to and including 2022, the
annexed land and assessable improvements to it
(
a) must be assessed by the Village of Thorsby on the same basis as if they had
remained in Leduc County, and
(
b) must be taxed by the Village of Thorsby in respect of each assessment class
that applies to the annexed land and the assessable improvements to it using
the municipal tax rate established by Leduc County.
3 Where in any taxation year, up to and including 2022, a portion of the annexed land
(
a) becomes a new parcel of land created as the result of subdivision or
separation of title by registered plan of subdivision or by instrument or any
other method that occurs at the request of, or on behalf of, the landowner,
(
b) is redesignated at the request of, or on behalf of the landowner under the
Village of Thorsby's Land Use Bylaw to another designation, or
(
c) receives a permit from the Village of Thorsby for development
section 2 ceases to apply at the end of that taxation year in respect of that portion of
the annexed land and the assessable improvements to it.
4 After
section 2 ceases to apply to a portion of the annexed land in a taxation year,
that portion of the annexed land and the assessable improvements to it must be
assessed and taxed for the purposes of property taxes in the following year in the
same manner as other property of the same assessment class in the Village of Thorsby
is assessed and taxed.

I, Hector Goudreau, Minister charged with the administration of the Historical
Resources Act, R.S.A. 2000 C. H-9, do hereby:
1. Pursuant to
section 20, subsection (1) of that Act, designate the site known as the
Orange Hall, together with the land legally described as:

Excepting thereout all mines and minerals
and municipally located at 10335 - 84 Avenue in the City of Edmonton, Alberta
as a Provincial Historic Resource,
2. Give notice that pursuant to
section 20, subsection (9) of that Act, no person shall
destroy, disturb, alter, restore, or repair any Provincial Historic Resource or
remove any historic object from a Provincial Historic Resource without the
written approval of the Minister.
3. Further give notice that the following provisions of
section 20, subsections
(11) and (12) of that Act now apply in case of sale or inheritance of the above
mentioned resource:
(11) the owner of an historic resource that is subject to an order under
subsection (1) shall, at least 30 days before any sale or other
disposition of the historic resource, serve notice of the proposed sale
or other disposition on the Minister,
(12) when a person inherits an historic resource that is subject to an
order under subsection (1), that person shall notify the Minister of
the inheritance within 15 days after the historic resource is
transferred to the person.
