OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour and Workforce Development dated August 11, 2009, and pursuant to Sections 17 and 18 of

Chapter 246 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Labour Standards Code and clause 18(1)(

a) of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased to: (

a) revoke the appointment of Joyce MacDougall of Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, as alternate member of the Labour Standards Tribunal; (

b) appoint Marinus Van de Sande as an alternate member of the Labour Standards Tribunal for a term of two (2) years commencing September 8, 2009; and (

c) fix remuneration for Marinus Van de Sande for his services as an alternate member of the Labour Standards Tribunal, at $150 per day plus reasonable and necessary expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties.
