OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated March 12, 2001, pursuant to Sections 7, 8, 11 and 18 of

Chapter 30 of the Acts of 2000, the Nova Scotia Business Incorporated Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint the following persons as members of the Board of Directors of Nova Scotia Business Incorporated, each for a term of office commencing April 1, 2001, and ending March 31, 2003: Keith C. Boulter of Chester, Lunenburg County; Sheila A. Brown of Bedford, Halifax Regional Municipality; Maurice Guitton of Lunenburg, Lunenburg County; and Alastair MacLeod of Point Edward, Cape Breton Regional Municipality; (

b) appoint the following persons as members of the Board of Directors of Nova Scotia Business Incorporated, each for a term of office commencing April 1, 2001, and ending March 31, 2004: James W. Gogan of Woodburn, Pictou County; Dan Potter of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; John Risley of Bedford, Halifax Regional Municipality; and James A. Sapp of Liverpool, Region of Queens Municipality; (

c) appoint the following persons as members of the Board of Directors of Nova Scotia Business Incorporated, each for a term of office commencing April 1, 2001, and ending March 31, 2005: Larry LeBlanc of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; Thomas A. Rose of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality; F. Thomas Stanfield of Truro, Colchester County; and Grace White of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality; (

d) approve the payment of remuneration in the amount of $200.00 for the Chair of the Board and $150.00 for each member of the Board for each day spent at Board meetings; (

e) approve the payment of necessary and reasonable expenses the Board members may incur in carrying out their duties; and (

f) declare the capital stock in Nova Scotia Business Incorporated shall be issued in a total of 100 shares, to be divided into 99 Class A common voting shares with a par value of $1 each and 1 Principal Share with a par value of $1, all such shares to be beneficially owned by Her Majesty the Queen in Right of the Province of Nova Scotia, in the name of the Minister of Economic Development, in Trust.
