Statute: Economic Renewal Act Business Development Corporation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development and Tourism dated August 26, 1998, pursuant to Sections 2, 3, 4, 7 and 9 of

Chapter 5 of the Acts of 1994, the Economic Renewal Act and Sections 9 and 10 of

Chapter 49 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Business Development Corporation Act, is pleased to: (

a) provide financial assistance to Watts Communication Limited in an amount not to exceed $2,300,000.00, on terms and conditions as outlined in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) authorize the Minister of Economic Development and Tourism to execute such agreements and instruments as may be required to give effect to this Order; and (

c) assign the administration of this account to the Nova Scotia Business Development Corporation.
