Statute:

An Act Respecting the Halifax Convention Centre

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Business, dated June 5, 2020 and pursuant to Sections 8 and 12 of

Chapter 35 of the Acts of 2014,

An Act Respecting the Halifax Convention Centre , is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Barbara Manning of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth) as member of the Board of Directors of the Halifax Convention Centre for a term ending September 30, 2020, commencing July 3, 2020; (

b) reappoint James (Jamie) MacNeil of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as member of the Board of Directors of the Halifax Convention Centre for a term of two (2) years commencing July 3, 2020; (

c) reappoint Justin McDonough of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as member of the Board of Directors of the Halifax Convention Centre for a term of one (1) year commencing July 3, 2020; (

d) reappoint Wayne Crawley of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) asmember of the Board of Directors of the Halifax Convention Centre for a term of one (1) year, commencing July 3, 2020; (

e) determine that each will be remunerated for their service as a member of the Board in the amount of $150 per day, and will be reimbursed for reasonable expenses actually incurred in fulfilling his or her duties, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally payable to members of the civil service.
