B.C. Reg. 45/2024 , deposited March 6, 2024, under the CLIMATE CHANGE ACCOUNTABILITY ACT [section 12]. Order in Council 101/2024, approved and ordered March 6, 2024.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Carbon Neutral Government Regulation, B.C. Reg. 392/2008, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

Section 1 (2) of the Carbon Neutral Government Regulation, B.C. Reg. 392/2008, is amended in paragraph (

c) of the definition of "public official" by striking out " and includes a member or employee of the Forests Appeals Commission continued under

section 194 of the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act ".

Section 4 (3) is amended by striking out " or British Columbia Transmission Corporation are not emissions for which that authority or corporation are deemed to be responsible under the Act " and substituting " are not emissions for which that authority is deemed to be responsible under the Act ".
