Labour Relations Board Rules of Procedure (Amendment) 87/07 The Newfoundland and Labrador Gazette August 10, 2007 548 15.1

(1) Where the board considers a matter to be inactive for a pe- riod of at least 12 months, the board may notify the parties of its intent to consider the matter withdrawn or abandoned.

(2) Where, 30 days after notice to the parties is given under subsection (1) no representations are made to the board to the contrary, the matter for which notice has been given is considered to be with- drawn or abandoned.

(3) Where representations are made within the time frame re- ferred to in subsection (2), the board may make the decision it consid- ers appropriate with respect to the matter.

Section 27 of the Rules is amended by adding immediately after subsection (1) the following: (1.1 ) The chairperson or a vi ce-chairperson may, before the commencement of a hearing, direct that the parties produce documents to the board and the parties to the proceeding on those terms that the chairperson or vice-chairperson may direct. ©Earl G. e) Humber Village who live outside the 25 kilometre radius of the judicial centre. 3. (1) For the purpose of compiling a jury list for the judicial cen- tre of St. John's under

section 11 of the Jury Act, 1991 , the geographic radius outlined in subsection 11(1) of the Act shall not apply.

(2) The jury list for trials to be held in the Trial Division sitting at the judicial centre of St. John's shall be drawn so as to include all those eligible persons who reside within the boundaries of the follow- ing areas only: (
