OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Community Services dated June 30, 2016, and pursuant to
Section 8 of
Chapter 213 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Housing Nova Scotia Act , is pleased to approve Housing Nova Scotia entering into the 2016 Social Infrastructure Fund Agreement under the Agreement for Investment in Affordable Housing, substantially in the form set forth in
Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, which will increase the federal-provincial cost-matching by $42.882 million over the 2-year period 2016-17 and 2017-18; and enables the Province to access $32.0 million in non-cost matching federal funds for housing that must be committed over the same time period.
