An Act Respecting Vital Statistics Loi modifiant la Loi concernant les statistiques de l’état civil Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as fol- lows: Sa Majesté, sur l’avis et avec le consentement de l’As- semblée législative du Nouveau-Brunswick, édicte : 1

chapter of the Acts of New Brunswick, 2011, is amended L’article de la Loi concernant les statistiques de l’état civil,

a) by repealing paragraph (

c) and substituting the following:

a) par l’abrogation de l’alinéa c ) et son remplace- ment par ce qui suit : (

c) par l’adjonction de ce qui suit après le paragra- phe (2) : 39(2.1) The Registrar General may issue a certificate of birth registration that contains the particulars listed in sub- section (1) to an applicant who is not a person or of a class of persons prescribed by regulation as eligible to apply for the certificate if 39(2.1) Le registraire général peut délivrer un certificat constatant l’enregistrement d’une naissance reproduisant les renseignements énumérés au paragraphe (1) au de- mandeur qui est ni une personne ni d’une catégorie de personnes réglementaire admissible à présenter une de- mande, si les exigences qui suivent sont remplies : (

a) the Registrar General is satisfied that the certifi- cate is not to be used for an unlawful or improper pur- pose,

a) le registraire général est convaincu que le certificat ne sera pas utilisé à des fins illicites ou irrégulières; (

b) the Registrar General believes that refusing to is- sue the certificate would cause undue hardship to

a) the Registrar General is satisfied that the certifi- cate is not to be used for an unlawful or improper pur- pose,

a) le registraire général est convaincu que le certificat ne sera pas utilisé à des fins illicites ou irrégulières; (

b) the applicant is a person or of a class of persons prescribed by regulation as eligible to apply for the cer- tificate and he or she provides any additional informa- tion requested by the Registrar General to establish this fact, and

b) le demandeur est une personne ou est d’une caté- gorie de personnes réglementaire admissible à présenter une demande de certificat et il fournit comme preuve de ce fait les renseignements supplémentaires qu’exige le registraire général; (

c) the applicant pays the fee prescribed by regula- tion.
