Statute: Workers’ Compensation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated March 28, 2017, and pursuant to Sections 238 and 239 of

Chapter 10 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Workers’ Compensation Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Annette E. Anselm of Halifax Regional Municipality as a full-time Appeal Commissioner of the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Tribunal for a term of office extending from April 24, 2017, up to and including March 31, 2019, subject to dismissal for just cause; (

b) fix the remuneration of Annette E. Anselm as full-time Appeal Commissioner in accordance with a salary range equivalent to the Excluded Classification Pay Plan (EC12) in the range of $74,008.22 to $92,510.34, subject to all applicable enactments, regulations and policies of the Public Service Commission with respect to the Excluded Classification Pay Plan (EC12); and (

c) order that Civil Service benefits be extended to Annette E. Anselm as a full-time Appeal Commissioner of the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Tribunal, on the same terms and conditions as they are extended to members of the Civil Service.
