AN ACT TO AMEND THE SCHOOL ELECTION ACT (Assented to , 1971) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, enacts as follows: 1. The School Election Act is amended.

Section 7, subsection (1) is amended by adding after the words "other board, municipality or person" the words "to prepare a list of electors and". 3. This Act comes into force on the day upon which it is assented to. Explanatory Notes I. This Bill will amend

chapter of the Revised Statutes of Alberta 1970.

Section 7, subsection (1) presently reads: 7.

(1) Notwithstanding anything in this Act a board may enter into an agreement with another board, a municipality or other person for the other board, municipality or person to conduct a general election, by-election, plebiscite, poll, vote on a resolution, by-law or money by law, referendum or vote on any other matter or question, as the case may be, on the board's behalf.
