OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Public Works dated November 22, 2023, and pursuant to

Section 80 of

Chapter 156 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Expropriation Act , is pleased to: (

a) authorize the conveyance of three parcels of land being PIDs 40090342, 40748386 and 40748378, located at or near Maple Lake and Upper Sheldrake Lake, Hubley, Halifax County, to Piercey Investors Limited, a body corporate under the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia having a registered office situated at Halifax, Halifax County, for a purchase price of $1.00 for the final settlement of a 2009 expropriation approved by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 2009-346 dated August 26, 2009; (

b) authorize the condition to provide road access over PID 40090342 to assist with the egress of surrounding communities; (

c) authorize the Minister of Public Works to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to effect the conveyance of the land herein above described; and (

d) authorize the Minister of Public Works to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
