Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing dated January 21, 2021, and pursuant to Sections 4 and 6 of

Chapter 301 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Municipal Finance Corporation Act , and subsection 18(1) of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , is pleased to: (

a) effective February 25, 2021 revoke the appointment of Nancy MacLellan, of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), as a member and as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Municipal Finance Corporation, made by Order in Council 2019-230; and (

b) appoint Mark Peck of Halifax Regional Municipality (Bedford), as a member and as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Municipal Finance Corporation, for a term commencing February 25, 2021, ending on June 30, 2023.
