On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(

a) effective November 1, 2024, the Provincial Court Family Rules, B.C. Reg. 120/2020, are amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 1,

(

b) effective April 1, 2025, the Provincial Court Family Rules are amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 2, and

(

c) effective November 1, 2025, the Provincial Court Family Rules are amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 3.

Schedule 1

1 Rule 6 of the Provincial Court Family Rules, B.C. Reg. 120/2020, is amended in paragraph (

a) by adding " Port Coquitlam, " before " Surrey ".

2 Rule 9 is repealed and the following substituted:

Early resolution registry

9 The rules set out in this Part apply in the following early resolution registries, as set out in rule 6 (a) [parts that apply in certain registries] :

(

a) Port Coquitlam;

(

b) Surrey;

(

c) Victoria.

Schedule 2

1 Rule 6 of the Provincial Court Family Rules, B.C. Reg. 120/2020, is amended in paragraph (

a) by adding " Abbotsford, Chilliwack, New Westminster, " before " Port Coquitlam ".

2 Rule 9 is repealed and the following substituted:

Early resolution registry

9 The rules set out in this Part apply in the following early resolution registries, as set out in rule 6 (a) [parts that apply in certain registries] :

(

a) Abbotsford;

(

b) Chilliwack;

(

c) New Westminster;

(

d) Port Coquitlam;

(

e) Surrey;

(

f) Victoria.

Schedule 3

1 Rule 6 of the Provincial Court Family Rules, B.C. Reg. 120/2020, is amended

(

a) in paragraph (

a) by striking out " Port Coquitlam, Surrey " and substituting " North Vancouver, Pemberton, Port Coquitlam, Richmond, Sechelt, Surrey, Vancouver (Robson Square) ", and

(

b) in paragraph (

b) by striking out " Kelowna, Nanaimo and Vancouver (Robson Square) " and substituting " Kelowna and Nanaimo ".

2 Rule 9 is repealed and the following substituted:
