MINISTRY OF CHILDREN AND FAMILY DEVELOPMENT

STATUTES CORRECTION REGULATION, 2006

Corrections to Ministry of Children and Family Development statutes

1 The following statutes are corrected as set out in the attached Schedule:

(

a) Adoption Act ;

(

b) Health and Social Services Delivery Improvement Act .

Schedule

Adoption Act

Section 1 of the Adoption Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 5, is amended by repealing the definition "birth fathers"

and substituting the following:

"birth fathers' registry" means the registry referred to in

section 10;

Section 27 (1) is amended by striking out ' "heath care provider"

' and substituting ' "health care provider" '.

Health and Social Services Delivery Improvement Act

Section 14 (4) of the Health and Social Services Delivery Improvement Act , S.B.C. 2002, c. 2, is amended by striking out "notice of lay off" and substituting "notice of layoff".
