(O.C. 96-184)
Under the authority of sections 2 and 24.1 of the Young Offenders Act
Canada
) and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act
, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.
ORDER
For the purposes of the Act
(
a) social workers employed by the government of the province and registered social workers employed by a regional health and community services board constituted under
section 4 of the Health and Community Services Act
and the Grenfell Regional Health Services Board are designated as youth workers; and
(
b) group
homes for young offenders throughout the province are designated as "open custody facilities".
