SERVICE DOGS QUALIFICATIONS AMENDMENT REGULATION

(M.O. 003/2010) on January 14, 2010 pursuant to

section 5 of the Service Dogs Act.

1 The Service Dogs Qualifications Regulation

(AR 197/2008) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 1 is repealed and the following is substituted:

Qualifications

1 A dog that has qualifications resulting from the successful

completion of a training program delivered by a school or

institution accredited by Assistance Dogs International, Inc. has the

qualifications of a service dog for the purposes of the Act.

3 This Regulation comes into force on February 1, 2010.

ELECTRIC MOTOR SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN TRADE

AMENDMENT REGULATION

section 33(2) of the Apprenticeship and

Industry Training Act and approved by the Minister of Advanced Education and

Technology on January 12, 2010 pursuant to

section 33(2) of the Apprenticeship and

Industry Training Act.

1 The Electric Motor Systems Technician Trade Regulation

(AR 273/2000) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 2(

b) is amended by adding ", modification" after

"replacement".

Section 3 is amended

(

a) by adding the following after clause (a):

(a.1) modifying motors, including windings, electrical

connections and bearings;

(

b) in clause (

l) by striking out "and balancing";

(

c) by adding the following after clause (l):

(l.1) performing predictive and preventative maintenance

services;

TRADES (EXPIRY CLAUSE) AMENDMENT REGULATION

1 The Baker Trade Regulation (AR 263/2000) is amended in

section 9 by striking out "August 31, 2010" and substituting

"August 31, 2019".

2 The Concrete Finisher Trade Regulation (AR 269/2000) is

amended in

section 9 by striking out "August 31, 2010" and

substituting "August 31, 2018".

3 The Outdoor Power Equipment Technician Trade

Regulation (AR 47/2001) is amended in

section 21 by

striking out "March 31, 2010" and substituting "August 31,

2014".

4 The Painter and Decorator Trade Regulation

(AR 292/2000) is amended in

section 9 by striking out

"August 31, 2010" and substituting "August 31, 2019".

5 The Rig Technician Trade Regulation (AR 76/2005) is

amended in

section 11 by striking out "March 31, 2010" and

substituting "August 31, 2016".

6 The Sawfiler Trade Regulation (AR 302/2000) is amended

section 14 by striking out "August 31, 2010" and

substituting "August 31, 2016".

7 The Tilesetter Trade Regulation (AR 308/2000) is

amended in

section 9 by striking out "August 31, 2010" and

substituting "August 31, 2012".
