Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated October 19, 2010, and pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (

a) authorize the disposal of certain lands containing 12,587.4 square feet, more or less, situate at or near Halifax, County of Halifax, and more particularly described in Schedules "A," "C" and "D" as shown crosshatched in red on

Schedule "B" which Schedules are attached to and form part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) authorize the conveyance of the land to Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, a Crown corporation established under the laws of Canada (the Broadcasting Act, S.C. 1991, c.11), having its head office at 181 Queen Street, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, K1P 1K9, and a place of business at 1400 Rene-Levesque East Boulevard, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, H2L 2M2, for a sale price of $1.00; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to effect the conveyance of the lands hereinabove described.
