OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated September 26, 2008, and pursuant to Sections 3 and 4 of
Chapter 327 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Ombudsman Act, and
Section 10 of
Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, is pleased to: (
a) reappoint Dwight L. Bishop of Wolfville, Nova Scotia, as Ombudsman, for a further 5 year term commencing January 1, 2009; (
b) designate Dwight L. Bishop as a deputy head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act; and (
c) determine that Dwight L. Bishop shall be paid such salary and receive such benefits as may be approved from time to time by the Executive Council or Treasury and Policy Board.
