OIC Text: The Minister of Finance in his report and recommendation dated May 12, 1999, states that the sum appropriated by the Legislature to defray expenditures for the service named below and in the amount listed in Column I, is insufficient to meet the requirements of such service in the 1998-99 fiscal year and that an additional appropriation in the amount, and for the service, listed in Column II below, is required in addition to sums heretofore authorized, according to the accompanying report of the Minister of Finance. Department Column I Column II Sinking Fund Instalments and $197,091,000 $1,582,000 Serial Retirements The Minister of Finance therefore recommends that pursuant to

Section 28 of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, such additional sum be appropriated accordingly to be charged to the Current Account for the fiscal year ending March 31, 1999. The Governor in Council is pleased to approve of the Report and Recommendation and to order in accordance therewith.
