B.C. Reg. 284/2009 , deposited November 27, 2009, pursuant to the MEDICARE PROTECTION ACT [Section 51 (2) (d)]. Order in Council 647/2009, approved and ordered November 26, 2009.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective January 1, 2010, the Medical and Health Care Services Regulation, B.C. Reg. 426/97, is amended

(

a) in

section 8 (1) (

a) by striking out " $54 " and substituting " $57 ",

(

b) in

section 8 (1) (

b) by striking out " $96 " and substituting " $102 ",

(

c) in

section 8 (1) (

c) by striking out " $108 " and substituting " $114 ",

(

d) in

section 11 (2) by adding the following paragraph:

(

f) the amounts in respect of a registered disability savings plan the eligible person or their spouse was required, by

section 146.4 of the Income Tax Act (Canada), to include in computing income for the immediately preceding taxation year. ,

(

e) in

section 11 (5) (

a) by striking out " $20 000 " and substituting " $22 000 ",

(

f) in

section 11 (5) (

b) by striking out " $20 000 " and substituting " $22 000 " and by striking out " $22 000 " and substituting " $24 000 ",

(

g) in
