OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated May 2, 2000, pursuant to subsection 8(1) and clause 16(1)(
b) of
Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, and
Section 13 of
Chapter 504 of the said Revised Statutes, the Wildlife Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources, on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia, to: (
a) accept from Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada, the administration and control of the federal crown property known as Garrison Pier, McNabs Island, Halifax County, the said property shown outlined in red on
Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; (
b) accept from Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada, the administration and control of federal crown property located at Lower East Chezzetcook, Halifax County, pursuant to the terms of an Implementation Agreement signed June 16, 1994, between Ducks Unlimited Canada and Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia, the said property shown outlined in red on
Schedule "B" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; (
c) grant to Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada any right of way or right of access that may be required in respect of the
Schedule "A" lands; and (
d) prepare and have executed such documents as may be required to achieve the purposes of this Order.
