1 The Livestock Industry Diversification (Ministerial)

Regulation (AR 256/91) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 15.1 is amended by striking out "October 31, 2013"

and substituting "October 31, 2014".

(AR 197/2008) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 1 is amended by striking out "accredited by" and

substituting "that is accredited by, or that has candidacy status

with,".

2 The Residential Facilities Licensing Regulation

(AR 161/2004) is amended in

section 33 by striking out

"October 31, 2013" and substituting "June 30, 2017".

3 The Adoption Regulation (AR 187/2004) is amended in

section 35 by striking out "March 31, 2014" and substituting

"June 30, 2017".

Seniors Benefit Act

SENIORS BENEFIT ACT GENERAL AMENDMENT REGULATION

on October 30, 2013 pursuant to

section 6 of the Seniors Benefit Act.

1 The Seniors Benefit Act General Regulation (AR 213/94)

is amended by this Regulation.

Section 1(1)(i.1) is repealed and the following is

substituted:

(i.1) "senior couple" means 2 individuals who are the spouses or

adult interdependent partners of each other and at least one of

whom is a senior;

Section 3 is amended by adding the following after

subsection (1):

(1.1) Notwithstanding subsection (1), a senior is not eligible for any

benefit during any period within which the Federal Old Age Security

pension of that senior or that senior's spouse or adult interdependent

partner is subject to a deferment under

section 7.1 of the Old Age

Security Act (Canada).

Section 7(3.1) is amended by striking out "days prior to the

appropriate month determined under subsection (1)" and

substituting "period prior to the month in which the senior's 65th

birthday occurred or that coincides with a period of deferment referred

to in

section 3(1.1) on the part of the senior or the senior's spouse or

adult interdependent partner".

5 Sections 8.1(1), 8.3(1) and 8.4(1) are amended in clauses

(

b) by striking out "3(3)" and substituting "3(1.1) or (3)".
