CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Trade Union Act (Assented to April 27, 1981) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Trade Union Amendment Act, 1981. Rev. Stat. c.T-17,

section amended Clause 11(2)(

d) of The Trade Union Act is repealed and the following substituted: “(

d) to declare, authorize or take

part in a strike unless a strike vote is taken by secret ballot among the employees who are: (

i) members of the trade union selected or designated to represent the employees in the appropriate unit concerned; (ii) affected by the collective bargaining; and (iii) eligible to vote; and unless a majority of the employees voting vote in favour of a strike, but no strike vote by secret ballot need be taken among employees in an appropriate unit consisting of two employees or fewer”.
