Order in Council 1818/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 32(2) of the Human Rights Code and subsection 16(4) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009 , Romona Gananathan of Toronto be reappointed as part-time member and vice-chair of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario for a fixed term effective January 1, 2024 and ending September 14, 2024.

Further,

whereas Romona Gananathan was reappointed as full-time member and vice-chair of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario for a fixed term of two years, effective September 15, 2022 by Order in Council O.C. 1226/2022;

Therefore, Order in Council O.C. 1226/2022 be revoked effective January 1, 2024.
