OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated November 20, 2006, and pursuant to

Section 72 of

Chapter 28 of the Acts of 2004, the Legal Profession Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Joshua M. Arnold of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, to be a member of the Board of Governors of the Law Foundation of Nova Scotia for a term of office of two years commencing December 14, 2006; and (

b) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Joshua M. Arnold and indemnify him from personal liability, provided that the Province is satisfied the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his appointment and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
