CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Notaries Public Act (Assented to November 6, 1987) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Notaries Public Amendment Act, 1987. R.S.S. 1978, c.N-8 The Notaries Public Act is amended in the manner set forth in this Act. New

section 2.2 The following

section is added after

section 2.1: “2.2 Every person who is a duly enrolled solicitor of Saskatchewan and holds a subsisting annual certificate issued pursuant to The Legal Profession Act shall be a notary public for Saskatchewan”.

Section amended

Section is amended: (

a) by striking out “who is a notary public”; and (

b) by striking out “, for a cause other than non-payment of fees payable by him to the law society”. Coming into force This Act comes into force on a day to be fixed by proclamation of the Lieutenant Governor. REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN Printed by the authority of THE QUEEN’S PRINTER
