OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated March 5, 2004, and pursuant to
Section 6 of
Chapter 430 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Small Claims Court Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint the following persons as Adjudicators of the Small Claims Court, each for a term of office of one year commencing April 1, 2004 and ending March 31, 2005: Rubin Dexter of Lunenburg, Lunenburg County; Brent H. Silver of Bridgewater, Lunenburg County; and Anthony W. Brown of Bridgewater, Lunenburg County; (
b) determine the remuneration for an Adjudicator of the Small Claims Court of Nova Scotia to be at the rate of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per hour or part thereof for each sitting of the court, One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) for a stated case, and authorize payment of travel and accommodation expenses at the rates payable to public servants.
