CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Property Improvement Grant Act (Assented to May 9, 1980) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Property Improvement Grant Amendment Act, 1980. Rev. Stat. c. P-29 The Property Improvement Grant Act is amended in the manner set forth in this Act.

Section amended Subsection 4(2) is repealed and the following substituted: “

(2) No grant is to be paid to an applicant in any current year unless: (

a) at the time he applies for the grant, his name is listed on a valid Saskatchewan Health Services Card issued for the current year for the purposes of The Saskatchewan Hospitalization Act or The Saskatchewan Medical Care Insurance Act; or (

b) he belongs to a class or category of applicant prescribed in the regulations that is not required to be the holder of a valid Saskatchewan Health Services Card for the purposes of this Act”.

Section amended Subsection 13(2) is amended by adding the following clause after clause (c): “(
