An Act to amend The Frozen F.ood Act (Assented to , 1970) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Alberta, enacts as follows: 1. The Frozen Fooid Act is hereby amended. 2.

Section is amended by adding the following after clause (kl) : (k2) the sanitary standards of any means of transporta tion used to c.onvey meat ,carcasses .or parts thereof from the slaughterhouse to the point of processing, 3. This Act comes into force on the day upon which it is assented to. Explanatory Notes I. This Bill amends ,chapter of the Revised Statutes. 2. This amendment gives the ILieutenant Governor in Council power to make regulations setting the sanitary standards neces sary in the transportation ,of car,casses from the slaughterhouse to the processing plant.
