OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated December 16, 2004, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia to: (

a) purchase two parcels of land containing 48.56+ hectares (120+ acres) located at Mattie Settlement, Guysborough County, and shown outlined in red on

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, from the Municipality of the District of Guysborough, its successors and assigns for the purchase price of $41,822.47, subject to the condition that the Municipality of the District of Guysborough, its successors and assigns, be able to certify title to this land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) prepare and have executed such documents as may be required to achieve the purpose of this Order.
