Order in Council 1231/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 162(3) of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997,

The chair of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, appointed on a part-time basis, shall be compensated at the rate of $550 per diem, up to a maximum amount of $132,000 annually;

The chair shall be reimbursed for reasonable work-related expenses incurred while engaged in the business of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board in accordance with the Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive and any other TB/MBC directives.
