OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated March 5, 2008, and pursuant to
Section 7 of
Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to: (
a) acquire land located in Queens County, the exact size and location to be negotiated, from N. F. Douglas & Company, Limited, its trustees, approved successors and assigns for a total purchase price not to exceed $1,500,000, subject to the condition that N. F. Douglas & Company, Limited, its trustees, approved successors and assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (
b) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
