OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Securities Act dated February 24, 2009, and pursuant to Sections 4(1)(2) and 7(3) of

Chapter 418 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Securities Act, as amended by

Chapter 46 of the Acts of 2006, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint H. Leslie O'Brien of Halifax, Nova Scotia as member and Chair of the Nova Scotia Securities Commission for a three year term commencing May 30, 2009; (

b) determine remuneration for member and Chair at $84,000 per year, plus expenses commencing on May 30, 2009; and (

c) order that remuneration of the Chair of the Nova Scotia Securities Commission be adjusted annually, commencing May 30, 2010, equal to the percentage cost of living increase approved for non-bargaining civil servants for the 2010-2011 and subsequent fiscal years.
